He is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing Rides for Lives products vision. He has experience in advanced engineering, management, and financing of companies. Chris is the oldest of five children, became an Orphan after losing both his parents to the HIV virus.He became the head of the household and caretaker of his siblings at the age of seven an experience he credits for his leadership abilities. He holds a BS and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and is currently pursuing his PhD at the same Institution. Contact: tresep05@gmail.com

2013-12-28 11.41.48Ryan Corley – Co-President: Ryan is a junior at UC Berkeley pursuing a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research with a minor in Computer Science and a certificate in Engineering Leadership. Besides being student, he is an Eagle Scout, an outdoor enthusiast, and enjoys mountain biking, running, hiking and skiing. Ryan says, “I was inspired to volunteer at CA Bikes International after hearing Chris’s story and learning how Rides for Lives’ mission emphasizes participatory development, as the organization is driven by the talent of the local population.” Contact: ryan.corley@berkeley.edu
imageAlastair Boone – Co-President: Alastair Boone is co-President of Rides for Lives at Berkeley. Her job ranges from planning fundraising and outreach events, to helping to facilitate The Good Wheels Exchange here on campus. She has always been interested in service projects, and is especially drawn to Rides for Lives because it focuses on an isolated issue, which allows our impact to have a real, far-reaching importance. She is a third-year at UC Berkeley, and she studies English literature as well as Global Poverty. She likes coffee, ice cream and stepping on crunchy autumn leaves. Scan00030Ning De-Eknamkul – Media director Ning is in charge of Rides for Lives and The Goodwheels Exchange websites and social media affairs. She joined Rides for Lives last Fall as she found inspiration in Chris Ategeka’s story and entrepreneurial vision with CA Bikes International (now Rides for Lives).
